Accounting Manager - Nordic Capital Family Office, Stockholm
Are you ready to lead a dynamic accounting team within one of Europe's premier private equity firms? Nordic Capital is seeking an Accounting Manager to join and manage its Family Office in Stockholm, Sweden.
As part of this specialized team, you will deliver top-tier accounting and company management services to Nordic Capital's partners and senior staff, as well as oversee ownership structures within the organization. This role offers an opportunity to take the lead in managing accounting operations, developing efficient processes in the team and with outsourcing partners, implementing new technologies and automations and nurturing key client and service provider relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage accounting and bookkeeping operations
- Plan and deliver comprehensive accounting services for clients, such as year-end closings and audits
- Establish policies and procedures for company administration services
- Manage day-to-day client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and communication
- Lead accounting projects in collaboration with other team members and external advisors
- Supervise and mentor 1-2 team members, serving as the go-to person for complex issues
- Support company administration and accounting, particularly with complex structures and processes
About the Family Office Team:
The Family Office consists of a dedicated team of five, led by the Head of Family Office. As the Accounting Manager, you will lead the accounting function and report directly to the Head of Family Office.
What We’re Looking For:
- A degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting and bookkeeping
- Expertise in K2 and K3 Swedish GAAP accounting standards
- Proficiency in Swedish and English (both written and spoken)
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
- A hands-on, adaptable approach to complex legal and corporate structures
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with financial reporting, company administration, and managing outsourced accounting services
- Knowledge of IFRS, financial holding company accounting, and process automation
- Background in auditing, controlling or consolidation within an international context
